What a long, strange trip it’s been. In 1990, on a trip to Seattle, I punched in KJR and heard for the first time real sports talk radio. Not the late-night call-in crap, but an opinioned, in your face, entertaining style that grabbed you and wouldn’t let go.

Sources suggest that Sony TV may have finalised a deal to pick up 50 per cent in Dubai based sports channel, Ten Sports, reports CNBC-TV18.
